hello, finally blogging again. came home too late everyday to even blog... anyway, here's how my cny went:

i went to my 8th uncle's home on the second day, with first day being the absolute bore cos both my parents were working and i've vowed not to play any computer games at home for the rest of the term... sigh, me and my stupid vow.

so, i was bored.

really bored.

bored to the extent that i actually thought sleeping was fun.

lol. big LOL.

i normally have no dreams cos i sleep too little to even dream of something. most humans start having dreams when they are around half an hour or so into the subconscious state. i sleep around 2 to 3 hours. which wouldn't conjure any dreams since i always sleep unknowingly without thinking of anything, just listening to music.

anyway, back to the topic of cny

wednesday's celebration was kinda choppy.

i totally wasn't in the mood at all.

sigh, slightly more than 2 hours of my life wasted.

oh well, at least i did learn a few things which i promptly forgot afterwards xD

visited astra for a short short while. elisabeth wanted me to take pictures of everyone but then the event started so soon D=

so, back to class i was. how dreadful.

everyone was squished together.

the feeling was like soooooo WEN1 XIN1 xD

lol, the "wen xin man de ming" haha.

san ping go say something about this cheeky pupil in the lift who said that squeezing in the lift brings a wen1 xin1 feel xD

actually, up till now, i still don't get what wen1 xin1 really means. (proof that my chinese vocab totally sucks)

lol. whatever.

after that i went for pineapple tart making.

in which i only helped to stir the pineapple and sugar mixture before my dad called me up to head over to my relatives' home.

sigh, played cards over there. i seemed to be a psychic during the card games. cos nobody won when i'm around xD

the moment i leave, my cousin started being 'able' to win. with me around, she lost practically 70% of the games we played.

well, 40% of the time were my cousins getting forced to close their hands by me while the other 60% were either draws or the rare wins. and by rare, it's around less than 5% xD

the moment i left, the ratio totally flipped. 60% of the time someone won O.o

lolz, it's like they have barely any strategy O.o

oh well, went home pretty late.

today was quite okay.

went to practise the sc investiture thing with IA

received the pineapple tarts from shu jun.

visited helea earlier in the morning too. only 2 of them were in class. desirae came afterwards. then ruoting and so on. so sad, it was too early in the morning and not everyone was in class yet.

flag raising as usual. then got BP today. i officially declare that we learn BP cos we BO PIAN. got no choice but to learn D=

had chinese first thing in the morning too... got to learn ting xie man... so stupid. nevermind. use that to get free marks =D

then got ACE. ACE was damn funny la. kim siang, melvin and i were in a group. we were to write a letter to the straits times. then i go write in cursive. they go laugh. after that i go write normally. then when halfway done, kim siang suddenly got fetish for gay colours. he go write in green, then purple and finally PINK.

ZOMG.

damn funny. then mrs wong was like, "why so colourful one?"

we just kept laughing. then kim siang still draw a gay flower after that.

laugh even more.

i laugh until got cramps again.

chemistry took over bio today.

so from single period after lunch turn to two separate periods.

not too bad la.

i finally got the hang of ionic compounds. a big yay for me =D

i fell asleep close to end of LA. slept too little the night before and the night before and the night before. all 3 days add up to less than 8 hours of sleep D= my insomia is getting worse... not that i don't like it though.

oh well, slept through lunch and history.

total knockout <--- as described by my classmates.

oh well, i did wake up for a short moment to move to the back to sleep.

apparrently, they tried shaking me and calling my surname.

didn't feel or hear anything.

only when the class stood up then i woke up cos of the thunderous noise coming from the chairs.

oh well, went back with mancini, nicholas and yu peng.

today beng hwee also keep singing "tell me why". damn random and stupid. funny also.

still got the transformers jingle.

"mancini, woman in disguise"

i was like LOL.

haha. today quite funny la. cny was boring cos i was with a whole lot of female cousins...

still going to my relatives' house this coming weekend.

sigh.

oh well, here ends my post.

cny eve today.

how nice.

i just had my dinner. a steamboat at that =D and now i'm totally bloated.

nah, not totally.

more like above the 100% mark.

completed the first version of my play yesterday.

named it V1.

after which it became V1.1 cos i made some formatting and cast changes.

titled: Familiaris In Sanguis

in proper english: Friend In Blood

take note: 'In' is the same in Latin and English. in fact, english has tons of words derived from latin. so much that you might call the person who invented english lazy xD

anyway, i had a few people comment on it already. if anyone wants to read, feel free to ask! i would love any comment that is made so long as it comes truthfully =D

nothing much to write, really.

my juniors are telling me that my blog posts are funny cos i write the way i talk.

weird. nobody writes formally in their dairies xD

anyway, i let wenxin looked at my play today and it came back with surprising comments!

6 long paragraphs! cool dude. sadly, i didn't save the message history D=

a while after taking her comments into consideration, there was a sudden short circuit and my home blacked-out.

perfect.

just wonderful.

on cny eve somemore.

sigh.

so i had to re-write all that i've edited. what a pain man.

so now i have completed it. which is why i even blog xD

i don't blog until i have completed my daily goal you see. at least for now.

watching kungfu mahjong on tv now. it's damn damn damn funny. just can't stop laughing.

and like wow, the quit gambling hotline is like 24-24-24-24 on some crappy server thing which code number was C444. well, say those numbers in cantonese and you'll seriously laugh xD

especially the C444. it's read like see-sei-sei-sei. or if you read C as shv (the v is the u with the two dots)

in the end, it means lose-die-die-die xD

so funny.

then still got this funny philosophy.

"gambling is not about throwing your money into the sea"

^sounds a little wrong cos most people do think it is throwing it into the sea^

"gambling is your whole family jump into the sea"

i totally LOLed at it for around 30s

too funny already. it sounds even more funny in cantonese xD

ahaha, i shall continue watching. later on channel 256 got this 4hour music fiesta.

how nice. 10pm to 2am. actually it is already airing on channel 56 from 9pm. but i wanted to watch kungfu mahjong xD

oh well, tata.

pretty short post today.                      25-01-09

man, what a boring week.

other than more homework, there's nothing new.

actually, there is.

got some fresh new injuries from wednesday's P.E. lesson. rolled on the basketball court too when chasing after jiaqi.

mancini and the others mimicked me limping too... how evil.

wednesday was just boring. nothing worth remembering.

thursday went the same too. with some little funny readings from The Crucible. why funny? cause everyone said lines out differently which showed me some major contrast between everyone's timid levels. oh well, pretty obviously, gerrald got "freaked out" by me. like since forever man.

jiaying stole my lines too. how wonderful. i 'ahem-ed' her before she realised what was happening. zzz, jiaying's got negative lag.

more bores later.

attempted to walk normally.

failed miserably.

the pain totally sapped a large portion of my usual energy.

had to walk with my left leg totally straight the whole day.

oh well, thurday's a bore too. seems like i get bored pretty easily.

friday's not half bad (today that is).

i woke up late. thanks to my stupid knee for sapping away all my life force (exxagerated, i know). reached school barely on time, sparing a few minutes for my almost daily visit to 1A. very lethargic today. kept having cold spasms. so if you're wondering why i was wearing my jacket the whole day, here's your answer.

mr harris wasn't here again. apparently ill. ms cheng mun yi came in to take over the class. i submitted my reader's digest subscription form and got a free chinese chess set along with it.

played a short round of chinese chess. was fiendishly careless and lost because i didn't notice the 'fei-jiang'. those who play should understand what i mean.

lit lesson after that.

hilarious. read from page 41 (Act 2) from The Crucible.

egan read Proctor's role the standard singaporean style.

gerrald went double role and took up Elizabeth's and Mary's role. with the first character having a sissy gay voice and a ah-beng styled slang for the second.

there were a few sexual references in the script and we spent our time laughing at it.

and now i've got stomach cramps from laughing too hard. or more scientifically, diaphragm aches. (take note, guys don't suffer from menstral pains in case you start telling me that i'm a gay, transexual homo)

oh well, ignore what's in the brackets. bracketed things were normally skipped during readings anyway. nobody reads like this in front of public, for example:

Aaron's a nice boy <--- what's being read

Aaron's a nice (although positively tested to be retarded) boy <--- what's written on the script.

i wonder which one would people prefer.

went home alone after that.

other than the lit lesson, today was again, relatively boring.

3 boring days in a week.

plus.

i'm sooooooooooo not looking forward to visiting my relatives. worse still. all my in-singapore-currently cousins are all females. sigh, what a hard life.

oh well, talked to mancini for a short while. random political stuff. about obama vs bush.

sigh.

that's it i guess. shall watch more code geass later. poor shirley got murdered by rolo... that scene was probably the definitition of true love.

what.

the.

i'm being told to drop AEP.

what sick logic is this?!

just because my cursed gpa doesn't meet the 8-subject criteria.

whatever.

i shall stay calm.

or else the juniors that i have who read this blog will get freaked out by how i say things when i'm angry.

alright, one.

smile first.

two.

smile until i grin.

three.

look at the mirror and see a retarded image.

alright, that's settled. for now at least.

i guess it's okay. getting kicked out of AEP like that. shows me another side of life.

reality.

meh, whatever. this is just how life goes. i'll just learn to accept it. and change it when i grow up.

but NOT as a Singaporean when i grow up. but as a totally different being. namely idealists. lol, i must sound kinda serious. actually, if you imagine me acting dramatically when saying these few lines, obviously, i'm just joking =D

i'm not that dumb as to challenge the government when i'm just about to get my IC this year. that would be ironic xD i am a lawful singaporean since primary 3. there would be political conflict if i were to go all out to challenge the government. xD

anyway, i had ACE today. yet another lesson on active citizenry... kinda hard for me to relate to when i'm not even a true blue singaporean. being ostracized in society because of nationality is just really, really bad.

actually, you still see it now. oops, blogger might just ban me again for typing racial comments here. whatever, it's not my first time being banned anyway.

i arrived at school pretty early today. 7.10am

not exceptionally early compared to the torture i had during orientation. was pretty lethargic early in the morning too. played jia ying's wii too vigorously... having some muscle aches around my arms. oh well, hopefully it gets better so that i can train up my chin-ups again. i only managed to do 2 at the fitness corner near my house today with these stupid muscle aches. must make sure i can do my required 7 for A no matter what condition i am in!

(so that i can beat lai yiren in arm wrestling too)

bwahaha, forget that stupid reason in brackets. i just need to be strong enough to protect the people i care for most. haha, sounds corny.

haha, those who read my previous post in which my fear is written in my post. well, they are related. doesn't matter. on with the post.

got scolded during chemistry lesson. we were 15min late. we didn't stop our bio teacher from dragging on. anyway, we F.O.C.kers probably learnt our lesson (poor jia-er, she got screamed at). read through the experiment instructions just before typing this post.

oh ya, speaking of bio, i actually left my homework at home right in front of my computer desk. how stupid. i was marvelling at it last night. so dumb of me.

watched a few episodes of code geass: lelouch of the rebellion R2. at episode 10 now. stupid utorrent keeps refusing to download the last 0.4% of the file as usual. what a pain. hopefully R3 comes out soon. code geass is practically my favourite anime at the moment, pushing death note to second in position.

i seem to have a fetish for storylines with strategic and intellectual placement of ideas and plots. call me a freak or whatever you want. it doesn't exactly matter.

addicted to the song COLORS too. it's the opening of code geass episode 1 to... i think 12? really nice beat.

i realise my posts are getting seriously random. oh well.

some people went to chen yin's house for more cookie making today. i wonder if they stare at the oven like a tv this time round. must be really interesting observing a cookie expanding.

and oh, they named the m&m cookies, mookies.

wow.

the honour.

great innovation =.= totally.

we earned $91 today. not bad, thinking back that we only have $40 for our budget. pretty pathetic. ooh, alliteration. zzz. pure randomness again.

hope i manage to join eds now that i am out of AEP, which means more time for practices if it ever occurs on tuesdays. or if i'm ever in EDS for that matter. i still owe jamie>mr ken, $20 for the new book which i had barely read. in fact, just the first 11 lines.

damn, my mind's in clusters. need to sort them out someday. saw oh hui xian at the bus stop when going home. she was with a friend.

and they skipped 2 buses.

what tolerance.

what patience.

for the sake of a non-crowded bus.

oh well, i missed one too cause there really wasn't any space left...

i've designed a seahorse (inspiration from egan!) using F-O-C-U-S. pretty cool i find. though i like the dolphin i designed out of H-E-L-E-A more.

alright, i don't think i have much left to say. except that i'm bored and that i should try sleeping like a normal human being at 10pm rather than a nocturnal insomia-bound freak who sleeps at 2-3am and wakes up at 5am on the same day. lol.

finally.

Finally.

FINALLY.

i managed to alter my proxies to access blogger!

shouldn't have dwelled into proxies too much...

anyway, just finished my cell analogy... actually, not really. finished it the night before. realised that i wrote so much jargon that probably only yu peng, shen hao and mr gee should understand... after that, it reduced from 3 pages to 1, without all the other jargon and gibberish.

sigh, kinda late for this post but...

zettai zettai must write about ORIENTATION '09!

haha, my 1Astra so cute (the guys sometime quite irritating though). first day see their lost faces is like 'ahaha, they look so cute with the lost faces'. first 1A student i saw was this guy with a pair of white specs. he's called jerrold. anyway, i guided him to his class and that was probably it after that.

assembly at parade square.

stupid 3hour talk right after O.o

brought them to class and played some simple ice breakers. splat and whacko was really fun. especially when people started having targets to sabo xD they were still remotely quiet though. taught them the simple ooi and kermama cheers.

mr teo, a new history teacher was their form teacher. pretty cheery looking person. hopefully the class loves him.

day was quite short and they went home a short while after ice breakers.

day 2 was slightly better. they started cheering more loudly. but they emoed pretty much early in the morning. okay, maybe not emo, more like still sleepy.

played some outdoor games. there was one where terrence taught them the infamous 'mook' cheer.

sigh.

doomsday.

afterwards, Astra got so addicted to that cheer that i just couldn't be bothered much anymore. they even went to write mook on every window pane that they could reach at their class...

utter shock.

totally.

anyway, they were told to start preparing their item for the concert, their banner and their identity. their banner was really beautiful. and the effort they put into the skit on the last day was really touching.

there was some conflict here and there. and they were also pretty much solved on their own. i drew a picture of little red riding hood with their class name. guess i'll post it some other day since my time with the computer is pretty limited at the moment.

day 3 was cca orientation. we brought them around the school to look at all the performing arts cca, or in other words, CHAMPS cca. with sports cca being the exception. EDS was the one i felt that my class enjoyed most. the relatively loud and appreciative laughter was prove of that.

some stayed back to do banner decoration after that. sadly, they were locked out of their class... so i accompanied them until they were done. how nice of me. speaking of nice, i realised on day 2 that i didn't fully dedicated myself to their class. the feelings that i had for 1H last year was somewhat missing when i took 1A this year... so i decided to love them as wholeheartedly as i had for Helea. it took me one night's resolute commitment to acheive that. but at the very least, i did, i hope.

day 4 was the trip to ECP. after simple briefing, each class was to do a cheer before they left for ECP. then were so 'LOUD' that my eardrums were about to die from their cheers man. 'really' loud. although Astra was the last to go, i bet their cheer made its way all the way to the 1D's ears.

we took a picture at ECP, and i had to bid my 1A peeps farewell for a moment while being station master for station six. unfortunately, my class didn't really had the time to go to my station, but i guess they had fun all the same.

the trip back to ECP was pretty funny too. we kept marching for no apparent reason, going 1-2-3-4, with a stamp of the foot on every count of 4. we arrived at school way before schedule and had even more time for concert preparations!

concert night. the last couple of hours before the finale of the orientation. jia rong came super early and went around with me to invade other classes. it was until much later did any other 1A peeps appear in class.

Astra went first for the concert item. quite unfortunate, but jia rong suddenly fell ill during dinner. he went home with his parents after that. he was having one of the lead roles for the skit too. what was the role? "A Wolf named Mook". wow, what a good name for a wolf... anyway, i took over the role of the wolf, so it literally became what the role's name was.

as expected, 1A went crazy upon knowing. anyway, after the performance, there was some crazy paparazi session. wye inn kept taking zi-lian pictures, so i just had to play along xD

they even started taking videos of me =.=

ridiculous man. really.

totally nuts.

anyway, Astra won the best banner award! heh, actually it doesn't matter who wins. cos the prizes are actually the same. DHS is practising equality you see. <--- fabrication

bid farewell to all of them.

popped balloons afterwards. new record for myself, 5 balloons in 2s.

school formally starts after that, with my homework stuck in my bag over the weekend cos it was hidden in 1A's class on friday night and the GO was closed so i had no more excess to the classroom keys... lucky homework could be downloaded from dhs.mail and moodle.

days were boring, until friday when i took my EDS audition together with the other year 1s. quite a number of 1A peeps went for the auditions. really happy that so many of them wanted to go. saw raey too, someone who resented me with a variable value (i'm writing it this way cause i don't know how much she resents me). gave her a few nods to signify that i'm not here to cause any trouble whatsoever.

we were told to do tableaus. i realised that vanessa spelt it wrongly. she wrote tablo. anyway, it doens't matter since we got the idea pretty well. i guess my group's performance was kinda special. instead of a practical, sad to happy or happy to sad, i decided to go with a simultaenous transition. at least it shows something different than the standard way of doing things.

it was a little fun to look at how the juniors speak after mr ken asked them to convince him why they should join EDS.

jia rong said i was pretty daring. i just told him that mr ken did say that we could "dramatize" afterall. he was saying that he would've done something like that if he had interpreted mr ken's words my way.

anyway, i found jia rong's response better than the other 4 year ones in my group. for he was much more louder and confident than the others.

sylvia and was it amanda; waved at me as i walked out the black box room. went home with the rest after that. met kar man and ai ling (unsure of the name) along the way. they went for dance auditions. do hope they can get in the cca of their choice.

watched code geass: lelouch of the rebellion over the weekends and rushed off some due homework for the next week. must really thank wei ting for this recommendation. but after watching episode 14 of R1, i almost lost my mind.

must seem pretty shocking to other people cause it's just an anime afterall. i'll talk more on this later.

went to paya lebar to meet up with my fellow F.O.C.kers for cookie baking today. it was quite a fun and at the same time disgusting day.

we went to buy stuff at paya lebar's shop and save and sheng siong first. took bus 30 to kembangan afterwards. arrived at jia ying's super big house.

started our first batch of cookies. we tested out two first.

burnt. lol, slightly.

tasted it.

not too shabby.

so we decided on making the rest, ensuring that they didn't go all black in the oven by sitting down, facing the oven. seems like the kind of zero motion tv that you may have in the oven. best thing was, there's only one programme on air called, "Cookie Baking".

had lunch with an awkward silence every now and then.

continued cookie making.

claire and cassandra arrived.

next thing i knew was that claire opened the lid of the cookie container and touched 8 of the cookies with her bare hands.

*jaw drops & eyes bulges*

sigh. i'm quite the hygiene freak when it comes to cooking things like that cause i won't want the consumer to get food poisoning. well, she claims that she did wash her hands so i guess it's fine.

hopefully.

while waiting for the cookies to bake, i asked claire if she was scared of loneliness (pretty random on my post but i'm sure those who were present in the cookie making session knows how this started). she was like 'how did you know?' and i just stated the reason.

she asked me about what i'm afraid and i told her to guess. lots of randomness going on. so she asked for a clue. i said it starts with L.

she still doesn't know.

gave her another. ends with S.

she still doesn't know.

gave her another. one of it's middle letters is O.

she was like "LOS?" then "loss?". lol, like who would fear Los Angeles... =.=

and this fear connects with episode 14 of code geass: lelouch of the rebellion R1. those who really want to find out why, just watch this anime and you'll understand.

next claire and cassandra both asked 'who' that i'm scared of losing.

sigh.

it doesn't always have to be a 'who'.

the thing that i'm actually scared of losing is a 'what'

a keychain.

given to me when i was exactly 13 years old.

and had given me very fond memories.

which the hand who gave me the keychain gave me inspiration for literature.

sigh.

claire and cassandra kept asking who gave it to me. such busybodies... i downright refused to tell them.

after the second shift came, we were almost done with all the cookies already. we played the wii afterwards. it was damn retarded for the first part. boxing totally tired me out. played tennis and other stuff too.  there was this mario soccer in which i owned clarissa's score with jia ying's brother. in total, i got my wonderful 8 CIP hours. with the addition of the day of sales, getting 10 CIP hours should be pretty easy. that just means 90 more CIP hours for this year so that i can get a guaranteed 5 cca points this year.

ate at mcdonalds afterwards. the auntie at the counter must be deaf, i repeated my order thrice to her and she still gave me fillet-o-fish with tartar sauce... totally deaf. went back home afterwards and bathed.

and now i'm here posting after fixing issues with my proxies. guess i should be able to post actively from now on.

3F.O.C.kers rock on.
